Illegal immigration has been a problem for the United States for a long time. This phenomena is not new and thousands of illegal immigrants have come into United States through either the Mexico border, the Pacific Ocean, or though many other ways. Some people have entered the country legally trough a visit visa, but then have stayed illegally and are working in various places. Illegal immigration is a double edged sword on the one hand it provide the local economy with cost benefits as the illegal immigrants are not paid so much, while they are more productive. On the other hand, these illegal immigrants do not pay taxes and their employers also do not pay their taxes. There are both pros and cons of illegal immigration. What is an American? An American is someone who loves their country and the people in it and believes in bettering their own lives as well as lives of those around them. Immigrants bring to us strong family structures. There are many ways immigrant people help U.S. also immigrant people are positive or united states economy. They help us economy to improve more. Immigrants help America to be America by being a multicultural society. People all around the world have only one dream, which is to come to America. Other Americans say, immigration is a threat to our economy. To them immigrants come to this county and steal their jobs. They work longer hours for less pay thus they bring the minimum wage down, they believe illegal immigrants go to school for free. But this is not the case, I don’t believe that illegal immigrasnts are hurting us. I believe that they just want to live their dreams and make them come true, isn’t that why the pilgrims came to America. Many americans don’t like immigrants because many immigrants have different traditions, culture, and language. The Americans are afraid that their culture might be in danger.
