Immigration Problem A well-discussed debate among today’s economy is the issues concerning immigrants and their desire to become American citizens. As displayed in The Jungle, a rather worrying novel about the marks and brutal temptations early America presents to Lithuanian family, adjusting to new surroundings and a new way of life is quite difficult. To make matters worse, language barriers and lack of domestic knowledge only seems to entice starvation and poverty among newly acquired citizens, who simply wish to change their social and economy lives to better themselves and their family.
Jurgis continues to search for work, knocking on every door in Packingtown, twice. When he realizes he has no other options, he applies for work in the fertilizer plant. Whereas at the same time the rich immigrants are paid more wages and are not discriminated and have options in working at the safe place environment. Human beings are not born with all the things that they which is money ,house, property etc .It is once own personality that brings it out. In conclusion, I would like to say that there should be no discriminations between the rich immigrant and poor immigrant and should be equally treated and should have the full right to do everything in their life.
