First of all, these three quarters, have been a pleasure to be a candidate for NJHS. I have learned a lot from this experience, and I feel like I changed in many ways in a good way. I also noticed many of my peers change and mature over the past couple of months. Being a member of NJHS means that you have to have a good character, leadership, citizenship, and be a good student in general. I trust that I achieved every one of those objectives, and think I would be a good individual for NJHS. To start, a very big thing about being a member of NJHS is scholarship. That means you have to keep good grades and keep a GPA above 3.60 in seventh and eighth grade. As a student who moved from a different country to America it was very hard for me to learn the language. I never gave up and tried my best to study as much as I could, to learn very fast. Even when I wasn’t always the best, I always tried my best. As a student I really care about my grades, and always keep straight A’s. During all four quarters in seventh grade my GPA was always either 3.9-4.0. I believe that everyone can achieve their goals only …show more content…
All my friends describe me as a very cheerful person, who always has a smile on her face. My friends always text me or contact me when they need someone to talk to about their problems. I am very honest with people around me, and try my best to never lie. I never got in trouble in school, and respect all my teachers and peers. I respect the rules and always try to follow them. When I see someone getting bullied, or see something bad on social media I always try my best to help. I try to be a better person each day. Everyone is born for a reason and I believe my reason is to do something good in this world. The best thing I have done this year was buy forty roses on Valentine’s Day and gave it to the people who didn’t receive anything. I love making other people feel good, and help
