Why is giving so important. without it the world wouldn’t be in a good state. The Giving Tree shows an amazing example of giving. The tree in the story showed that giving can be shown in all different shapes in sizes to please any one in need of it. Shel Silverstein illustrated the importance of giving in the book The Giving Tree.

Giving can come in all shapes in sizes. Giving doesn’t always have to be a physical item either. Giving can arrange from a brand new car or to something as small as advice from a friend. It really just matters how you see giving because that’s really all that matters. The tree gave the boys the necessities he needed for his personal needs.In the book the tree would give the boy a bunch of items. If the boy wanted something the tree would give the boy the items to pursue what he wanted. And the tree amused about it. People should always remember that giving is a great skill to have. And without giving the world would be dull and everybody would be selfish.

Yet again it doesn’t matter how bug or small the item has to be. It doesn’t always have to be an item. It can also be something as small as pep talk from a sports coach. That is why they have the term giving advice. I had an experience of giving before. I was selling wristbands for a girl in my school to help build wells for ethiopia. And that day the girl I was raising money for moved into my neighborhood. You never know when the act of giving can turn tides as quick as that. Being selfish isn’t a trait that you want to have. If you are selfish you don’t care about anyone else. I had an experience of someone being selfish. I never had an experience of someone being selfish because i want to hang out with friends who have my back and won’t stab me in the back. You should always chose your friends carefully and wisely.
