We all have someone who directly or indirectly encourages us in our life. In my life I always try to learn something from one and all and you know from whom I learn this, she is my mother and she is my creator. My mother not just gives me life but she shapes my attitude, behavior and my life. My mother teaches to be helpful, honest, truthful and much more and what I have achieve today is because of her only and I can also say what I am today is because of her. Since my father have his own business and he has to run it by himself, he is not able to give me time, as I spent much of my time with my mother, who has really persuade my life.
As I was spending time with my mother, she started teaching and explaining reasons behind her actions. My Mother always taught me to help other without expecting anything in return. I still remember this one incidence. My mother helps her cousin sister every time as she always helps everyone with their problem. But she never thanks or appreciates her work and sometimes she would not even talk to my mom properly just after she had helped her out with her problem. So one day she came and asked my mom, if my mom can find a maid for her.
After she left, I said, “Mummy If you still want to help her than I haven’t seen a brainless person than you.”
Hence, my mother started explaining, that “if you really want to help someone with your feeling then don’t expect anything in return. However, if you are expecting something in return then you hadn’t helped them from your heart.”
I still wasn’t satisfied with her explanation, as she adds, “if we behave same way as other, then there is no difference, between us and them.” And these works out in my mind and I thought that she is right. I think nothing is more difficult than to help others without selfishness. This inspire me a lot in my life that if I am able to help other than I should help without any expectation.
My mother teaches me that each and every thing is very important and everything has its own value. When I was in kindergarten, I like the things; which are big such as big notebook, big pencils and erasers. Therefore, I always wanted to buy this huge stuff. Once, on my birthday we went to buy cake and off course I choose the biggest one. Since she is my mother she understands why I choose that huge cake.
After party she asked me “why did I choose the biggest cake?” I simply replied “because it was a big one.” She smiled and said “look it is not always true that big things are good and small are bad, if you want to knit something you need needle. Though you have big sword which is bigger and sharper than needle but you can’t use it.” Although at that time I was unable to understand but today I feel that she is just an amazing teacher. She used to take out examples from our day to day life and which we can apply easily.
One more thing which I had learned from my mother is always be a learner. She is always ready to learn new thing with new idea. She was not familiar with computer and she didn’t know much about its use. Two months ago, when I
