Indians Misidentification

I selected this particular portion of the article because it shows how, in many cases, that people that aren’t American Indian or of Indigenous background, have a tendency to group all Indians together. This grouping causes misidentification and misrepresentation of the Indigenous people. Furthermore, the differences that each tribe of Indians have many differences including: languages, histories, foods, and cultures. They even have different ceremonies that one tribe may participate in, while another may not, like the Sundance. Some of these tribes were nomadic and traveled with their food source like the buffalos. Others were able to manipulate the earth and learn to grow and harvest and stayed in one area throughout the seasons. I agree
