Most people want to be healthy and also have freedoms to do as they like. However, individual freedoms can interfere with health. There should be a way to balance the two important values by restricting freedoms to benefit public health.
Individual freedoms should be restricted if they interfere with the health of a group. If somebody has something dangerous, whether a disease or a drug with harmful chemicals that can be inhaled, then he or she should be restricted from being near others, especially in small spaces like airplanes. When a person with a disease enters an airplane, it spreads towards others, infecting them. People with serious illnesses should never be allowed to travel.
