The American Revolution proved to be more than just a war that lead to independence officially separating the United States from Great Britain. It also sparked a number of different forms of influential philosophical and ethical ideas of its time (one major one being individualism introduced by John smith) many ideas passed around sparked radical changes in the general sentiments and political ideologies of the colonist.
