Ayn Rand wrote Anthem in the early sixties to show how totalitarian governments. Hurt individuality and killed ambition. Her story is about a person who wins out over a bad systems.

In this essay i will be talking about the story Anthem. This story is about a guy named equality 7-2521 as it was written on a iron bracelet which all men wear on their left wrists with their name on it. He is 21 years old and he's 6 feet tall. He was born with a curse because he was tall he was 6 feet, he had evil in your bones. Their for they consider you an evil person without doing anything bad or evil because he was different from everybody else. He was very smart in school but that was a sin, it was evil to be smarter than everyone that's what the teachers told him. He tried forgetting the lessons but he always remembered. He tried not understanding what the teacher was teaching him but he always would understand before the teachers spoke.

He left to lie on the shade of the theatre tent and he went with international 4-8818 to finish his work. They gathered papers and the rags that the wind had blew from the theatre, then they saw an iron bar in the weeds.
