Informational speeches were a little easier to organize for me. I felt more at ease of what to talk about since I could easily just research and talk about the issue in direct factual information. Speaking in front of people has always been a fear of mine. This time around speaking I felt more comfortable because I had specific things I had to mention. I am happy to say I had a feeling that I am improving little by little. Speaking about the ocean made it fun for me because it was something I enjoyed talking about. Watching my speech back there are a few things that I see I did well on, as well as some things I need to fix.

This damaged my credibility because I didn’t have the accurate information. I think I did do a good job of being enthusiastic throughout because I was constantly smiling. This helped when I got confused or made a mistake with information because you couldn’t tell. I did have a more serious tone when I showed the pictures of the animals that suffered.
I view the content of my speech as well put together. I could have gone into more detail on some parts ,but for the lack of time I wanted to cover every area I could. I actually went over the time span allowed and had to cut some of the things I still had to say. I discovered with this that you can easily speak six to eight minutes that its just your anxiety that makes it seem like a long time. I learned that you need to keep speaking and not rush because it ends up hurting your grade.
Organization was done well with going from transition to transition. I made it very clear what I was going to talk about next and when the speech was coming to a end. In the introduction I made sure to get the audience comfortable with the topic with my attention getter. Mentioning what it feels like and giving a visual picture helped achieve this. Talking at a normal rate will help me not seem so nervous while speaking. Whenever I am recording I can never tell if I come off too fast because I don’t want to speak slow enough to where I cant cover what I want. I will make sure and practice more with this to make sure the audience can hear better. Since I was rushing, I forgot to include the WOW statement. I went over the time limit so I felt like I had to end the speech soon. Next time, I will make sure to just continue on until I say everything I need too regardless of the
