Being gay is one of the common practices among the youth in America today. People have mixed reactions about the situation concerning its legality and ethical concerns. Though the practice has been experienced over time, its rapid growth is the major threat being that part of the community considers the action unethical (Rahman, Qazi, and Wilson 1345). Many religious leaders, for instance, have not approved of the action though the American constitution provides the gay with the right to exercise their desires. The most amazing part of the issue is that other people consider the situation natural. Some people claim that they were born gay. There has also been a lengthy debate concerning being gay. Some people argue that the situation is natural while others think that it is an acquired character that people develop within their minds (Weinberg 164). The politics of the issue in America especially has been the major problem with the issue being natural or not. The Democrats, who were in support of being gay, claimed that it is a natural situation. Most people have been confused as the Republicans also dispute the issue. Additionally, there has not been any scientific proof that being gay is natural. In the body of a human being, scientists have proved that there are no genes responsible for being gay (Rahman, Qazi, and Wilson 1375). Experiencing the feeling of being gay for a long time does not also make a being gay a natural action. There are cultural and social factors that are believed to be responsible for being gay. There is more evidence proving that being gay is not a natural situation as has been mistaken by many people
