To this day I still laugh at the fact that ice hockey is played with big bulky guys playing around with a chip smaller than my own hands. I would prefer to play soccer with a ball as small as the puck used in hockey than a bigger ball to make the game easier, but that would mean smaller nets. The reason the puck is so small is because it is harder to shoot and score. Ice hockey is very aggressive but fast and exciting sport to watch with two teams on a sheet of ice in a ice rink. It is actually my first time experiencing a live hockey game in my life. I chose to go watch UNO's hockey team play against Western Michigan on February 10, 2017. The game was taken place in Baxter and the arena was full even an hour before the game with great fans making the sporting event crazy and loud. Well, ice hockey can be seen as a leisure activity too. There's people that play this sport for fun with their friends and it becomes a great hobby to them. Sometimes different cultures change the game up a bit and make their own rules which is very creative to think you can change ice hockey into anything. In high school it is required to take a physical education class. Most schools have teachers that teach that class and have to show their students the basics of hockey and take an exam over it at the end of the year. It is actually required as a grade in that class and helps students learn the basic rules in different sports. Human-Environment Interaction can also be applied to ice hockey. The sport has to be adapted to the land and the climate. For example, this sport was originated in Canada because of the cold weather which helped invent ice hockey. If a game like ice hockey was played in Ireland they would have to adapt to the land and call it something else like hurling which is a sport exactly like ice hockey that is played over
