Over the course of a few years I have found myself really starting to enjoy cars. Now when I say cars, I’m referring to real cars. Not “Mustangs” or “Camaros”. I prefer something that can turn around corner without having to slow down to 3 miles per hour. Cars are beautiful, but to a certain extent. Sometimes they need just a little modification to be able to evolve into something so much more spectacular. For me, that modification is wheels. Although I already have wheels there are many benefits to buying new ones. First, the price of the wheels and tires compared to new wheels and tires is remarkable. After doing some research around the internet I was able to find the same wheels online. The cheapest wheels I could find were $150 dollars. All together that is $600 dollars for a set. Well there are a lot of benefits to getting new wheels. First of is visual appeal. Now I won’t get too far into that because I covered a lot in my previous paragraph. Second, is better handling. I don’t want to get to far into this one because you’ll tell me I better not be racing, but, when I have 4 girls in my car and someone pulls up and starts revving, I believe it’s my time to shine. With bigger wheels you have a smaller sidewall, meaning you have better lateral g handling capabilities. Third, it allows more room inside the wheel for bigger brakes. Now this one isn’t a big one but someday I might like to get better brakes, and bigger wheels means bigger brakes. It’s just one of the upsides to having bigger wheels. Third, it actually decreases the distance you need to brake, thus allowing me to be able to brake sooner in case of an emergency. Finally, they just look so much better, and will improve driving my car overall. The steelies I currently have on my car have bends all around the lip and just look used and wore out.
