As a kid I always wanted a tattoo but my parents always said only when your 21 , this was an insane ask for a nine year old kid who just watched '2 Fast 2 Furious'. This intrigue into having an awesome symbol of awesomeness on your skin was like having the equipment to be a hero. One day my mom invites me to come watch a TV show on TLC about horrific tattoos, the worst things you could imagine to be drawn on someone's skin. people do the stupidest things well drunk, getting "you go gril" tattooed on your stomach is something regrettable, this taught me that it's a good idea to wait and plan my tattoo.

In India girls coming of age were marked to announce their place in society. It was a cultural tradition. Some groups designed tattoos to indicating the owners station in life and the tribe they belonged to. Or like the people of new Zealand get a symbol of your tribe. Tattoos symbolise strength or title in a tribe or gang. This brings me to gang tattoos. In fact in South Africa you can tell if a persons in a gang like the "22's" by simply looking at their arms where they show it with pride, in prisons some prisoners get there hole bodies tattooed with gang and violence symbols.
In the Genius book of world record there is a man who has tattooed himself head to toe, literally in tattoos. He began by having a different designs from around the world tattooed over his body, including eyelids, the delicate skin between the toes, down into the ears, and even his gums. He only started to get tattoos because he worked in a circus and then continued just because he loved it this shows that some people just get tattoos for fun and some people can go a little over board with this
