General Speech Purpose: To inform my audience on how hurricanes form and develop
Thesis: Hurricanes are strong, dangerous storms that cause mass destruction. Due to this, people question how these storms develop into a massive threat.

Introduction
Hurricanes are a huge violent storm with vicious wind speed that can cause severe damage.
The damage due to the storms can cause flooding resulting in a storm surge, which is the ocean rising. The storm surge is the most damaging part of a hurricane because of the amount of water. Not only are homes and lives are affected, but also more weather forming.
