Informative Speech On Lung Cancer

Imagine you are walking with your friends having a great day. All of a sudden, one of your friends offers you a cigarette. You take the cigarette and start smoking it. You feel cool and that you finally are part of the group. 5 years later you are in the hospital with those friends. You were just diagnosed with lung cancer.
Every year, people all over the world get diagnosed with many different types of cancer. Sometimes they don't even know how they could have possibly gotten the disease. Me being me, I can't do much to save the world and end cancer. One thing I can do though, is speak up.
While researching this topic, I had many questions. When was cancer discovered? Who had it first? Can other species catch the disease? My main driving question

Nobody wants to be overpowered by a miniscule bacteria. Thankfully, people understand and are trying to do something about it.
Even though cancer is a sad and heartbreaking disease, people are still trying their hardest to find cures. Now, with today’s technology, we can not cure it, but prevent it easier.
One solution is that with our new technology and scientists, we can find cancer in its early stages. Therefore, having more chances to save the victim. For example, Wiki said “Early detection through screening is useful for cervical and colorectal cancer. The benefits of screening in breast cancer are controversial.”
Another solution is that now, doctors and scientists are coming up with many new vaccines to prevent cancer. Some vaccines are for the cells, some for the bloodstream, some even for tumors.
One way that I think our society can solve this tragedy is too never skip a vaccine an always avoid smoking, overexposure to sun, an drugs.
You do not want to feel the pain that thousands, even millions, of people have to live with. Most of them don't even live that long.
People are dying, hearts are being broken, we can't do anything to help them. We can't just give them a pain killer and poof, they’re healed. We must use all the strength we have and all of our
