Phil Knight Think about the shoes you have. I bet close to all of you have at least one pair of shoes that are Nike. Over the course of this presentation you will learn about the founder of Nike, Phil Knight. One interesting fact about Phil Knight is he started selling his shoes at track meets out of his car trunk. To get good traction on his shoes he used his wife's waffle iron. And lastly Nike signed Michael Jordan in 1984 before he even started playing for the Chicago because he was smart, articulate and handsome.
