Informative Speech On Tornados

Have you ever been in a case where you had to go to the basement in a tornado related situation. I have been through that so I am going to tell you about how a tornado forms,how you will know it is coming,and safety.

According to weatherwiz.com, stormaware.com, nssl.noaa.com, emsaonline.com,and ready.gov, a tornado is a mobile, destructive vortex of violently rotating winds, having the appearance of a funnel-shaped cloud and advancing beneath a large storm system. A tornado forms from a TON OF WIND! It has moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and dry air from Canada. When there is a huge thunderstorm...supercells will cause a tornado. When a thunderstorm reaches the ground the tornado can get up to 300 mph winds and 50 feet wide.
