Informative Vs Persuasive Essay

My organization was much better with my informative speech than it was with my persuasive. Within my informative speech, everything was intact and perfectly organized within my speech. With my persuasive speech, there was so much information that it was hard to keep up with. I tried too hard to keep my audience interested with facts that I lost track of how many slides I actually had regarding my topic. I’ve learned that the less slides you have on your PowerPoint, the better. I’ve also learned that you shouldn’t try to squeeze so much information in a certain time limit or you’ll end up looking sloppy.
I felt as if my language was definitely better with my informative rather than my persuasive. I feel that way because my informative speech was a very serious topic and my persuasive was not as serious of a topic. It’s very hard trying to deliver a speech with the topic I had while trying to gain seriousness with the audience. Although seriousness was hard to gain, I felt as though my persuasive language was enough to keep my audience’s attention. I had everything I wanted to say but

Although my persuasive speech had more information than necessary, I was still able to give a lot of very valuable information. While giving my persuasive speech, I was totally lost because I gave too much information; I was very excited about my speech topic and wanted others to feel as excited as I did. My informative speech on the other hand, gave the perfect amount of information but I wished I had given more. During both of my speeches, I noticed that the information I gave opened the eyes of a lot of people. I had many people coming up to me after class explaining how they’ll never forget my speech and that it opened their eyes to things they’ve never seen before, which means a lot to me because even though I make mistakes, my point still gets across and becomes memorable for
