It's not always easy to start over. In the novel “Inside Out & Back Again” by Thanhha Lai Ha and her family are going through hardships now that the Vietnam War has reached their hometown, Saigon. Ha and her family are forced to flee as Saigon falls to the ground and in hopes of survival they board a ship. Many refugees, especially children go through traumatic events that can scar them for life. Causing not only physical health issues but , mental health issues. Often times they fear for the worst. During displacement they think about separation from family, being uncertain about the future, and sometimes being able to get back on their feet. Ha goes through what most refugees go through.
