In our everyday life, we are faced with conflicts in the society. The society that is surrounding us has developed itself to no end, one belief or another someone will support you or criticize you. We live in a time era where our society settles/agrees on nothing, a time era where we do not know our rights from our wrongs. But we have always lived in this despair, which connects us back to the early sixteen hundreds when William Shakespeare wrote a free verse play with the title of Macbeth. Macbeth was a play with many internal and external conflicts revolving around Macbeth himself. evil, an internal conflict. Shakespeare presents us with the idea that corruption and the quest for power are driven by insecurities and the desire to mask them. After the killing of Duncan, and the crowning of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, Macbeth sent out three murders the kill Banquo and his son Fleance because the witches had told Banquo he will be the father of a king. While the killing of Banquo and Fleance took place Macbeth was attending a banquet full of family and friends, he then received the information that Banquo’s son Fleance had escape, and Banquo’s body has been thrown into a ditch. Macbeth became paranoid and started rambling on about the absence on Banquo and how he was worried that he had not attended. He Envisioned Banquo’s ghost in the open chair beside Lennox, Macbeth becomes frightened and reveals through his actions that he is seeing a terrifying spirit of some sort. Lady Macbeth covers for him and nicely asks everyone to leave. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth learn the painful truth that power attained through corruption destroys the security and the inner peace we all strive
