professional setting, I understand that meetings happen and if you're not there to give your input decisions are made and life goes on. As a group we discussed the best way for us to approach the subject as to not offend the group member. It was decided by the group that one of our group members would explain why we had to cut some of their talking time. It is my understanding that the individual wasn't happy hearing that their talking time had been cut, but they adjusted their presentation accordingly to meet time constraints. Standing up at the front of the room made it possible to visualize my classmates response to our SBL presentation. From what I could see, it seemed that everyone was engaged in our presentation. The people that did ask questions asked questioned that demonstrated they had been following our presentation and had developed a knowledge base around our topic. Reviewing our class quiz I was able to determine that for the majority the class had understood the key information we had shared during our presentation. Reviewing our feedback forms I was able to determine that a large majority of our classmates had enjoyed our presentation and found it to be a valuable learning experience. Several people gave feedback saying that they felt they had a better idea how they could best work with a renal patient, as well as, knowing what types of recourses are available to renal patients in our area. We also got lots of feedback suggesting that we have more class involvement. If I were to do this again this is one thing that I would do differently. It seemed a bit challenging to involve the class too much more than we did, as it seemed like there was a lot of information to get out in a short time. In reflection we totally could have used an hour for our presentation. To involve the class more we would need to rethink the way we presented the material and at this time I can't say how that would look. I will admit that I did consider this while we were in the early stages of developing or presentation, but failed to mention it to my group. Some of the peer feedback also suggested that there could have been less lecture, again another piece of feedback that suggests that in hindsight we might have made our presentation more interactive. Another point of feedback that was given to us was that we could have has more words per slide to make the presentation easier to follow. I found this interesting because as a group we worked very hard to keep the amount of information on each slide to the minimum amount. Originally we had a lot more information on each slide however, we tried to following the suggestions that are made in Bastable which says power points should be limited to 28 words per slide. Lots of our peer group also gave feedback saying that they felt our presentation was clear and easy to follow. This just validates what we know about how people learn and that not everyone learns in the same way. We for fortunate
