The Akkadians primarily resided in Akkad as it was their capital city, but interestingly enough archeologist have not yet found Akkad’s location. Archeologist believe that they know the approximate range to as to where Akkad was located, but still have not found its exact coordinates and excavated it to be able to better understand the Akkadian culture.
