An Introduction to Master Jean Jung Suh Suhng Nim
Jean Jung Suh Suhng Nim was born in Busan, South Korea. The Master's parents had foresight. They knew that the Master would perform a great mission to save humanity as a great teacher in his lifetime. So his parents had to let the Master live alone in childhood and adolescence. He endured the hardships of society and suffered in the midst of the conflicts and contradictions of society until 33 years of age.
He was then ready to die as a 33-year-old and decided to go up to a mountain. For 17 years he engaged in a silent retreat while he never even looked at the sky. He only practiced two mottos: ‘Humility’ and ‘Never blame others’ while on the mountain.
During the retreat, he was never supplied food from the outside. He was only sustained by the remnants of the mountain. Then when he had no food to eat, he starved for 70 days and so he had traversed life and death dozens of times. He eventually opened the great door of wisdom at the end of his retreat. This great wisdom is the saving of humanity. He has committed his life to the world and has gone all over the country for over 10 years with devotion. He has observed the shady areas of society, the main positions of power, the institutions, and even the spiritual world.
He has determined that there are only two ways to ultimately solve the problems we have. The first is teaching people to realize that they are Hongikan (people who benefit others) and what they need to do
