Many people know about the classic Shakespearean play, “MACBETH”. Macbeth is a hero who soon becomes corrupt and seeks power, but slowly descends into madness in the process as he kills just to achieve his goal. Soon he realizes that his wife, the same person who had pressured him into it in the first place, has went mad. He killed many innocent people, even attempted to hire men to murder a father and his child. In this essay, I will discuss whether or not i believe he fits the role of hero or villain.
First of all, we need a clear understanding of character traits such as protagonists and antagonists. Without these key details, it will be much harder to figure out what category he falls under. There are other character types, Protagonist
