The American dream is that every citizen has an equal opportunity for success in their life, through working hard and determination. People all over the world come to America to achieve freedom and more success in their life. They want better lives for their children and them. All the people who come to America want to someday improve their lives, no matter their race, gender, or age. The declaration of independence say that all men are created equal and that they are among life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. The American dream allows economic freedom and private property rights. Without any of this we the people cannot make the right choices that will help them in the long run to their success. Everyone says that America is the land of opportunity. All those people who say that are right because we have so much more things in our lives, much more than other countries and cities have. We can make our own decisions on our lives and not have anyone tell us not to do that. we have freedom that some people around the world don’t have and are never going to have. we have education. Education that is changing that anyone and everyone that wants education can do so, no matter their learning style. We have resources in the world that can help us through mostly any situation so that you can achieve more in your life. So, that you can live and work the way and the job that you want. You also have happiness. I think that happiness is the best because no one can take that away from you when you get in trouble, you will always have it. These, I think make up the American dream and therefore I still think that the American dream still exists today. I believe that everyone has the chance to have the American dream and should achieve to have the American dream. The American dream can mean a lot of different things to different people. It just depends on what you think it means. It could mean that you sit on you couch eating hotdogs and watching football or baseball. We the people in America need to stop taking everything for granted because you never know what is going to happen in the future. Someday we might not have the freedom we do now. This is why, I think that this American dream still exists today because we have of these aspects in our lives today. we have freedom to do whatever we want, we have happiness that no one can take it away, we have education to achieve more in our lives, and we have the resources to achieve more and do what we want to do in our lives.
