After taking the Meyers Briggs test I wasn’t really surprised at the results that I received on the test. Every time I take this particular test I get the same letters, so the results weren’t anything new to me. I’m an ISFJ – introverted, sensing, feeling, and judging. ISFJ’s are often characterized by their desire to serve others, and the feeling of “needing to be needed.” I can relate to both of those qualities along with other characteristics that ISFJ’s demonstrate. Before I looked into the qualities of my personality type I wanted to see what kinds of careers are common among ISFJs and I found that what I want to do on that list! Education and social work are common career areas for ISFJs and I want to work in college student development, as an advisor. I agree with this 100% because I’m a firm believer that “if you want something done right, you need to do it yourself.” A lot of times in group projects I step up to take the lead because I want to produce a quality end product and I don’t want other people to have control over my grades. Another quality that I find myself relating to is that I don’t like to share my accomplishments with others. ISFJ’s often believe it is wrong to want recognition for their accomplishments and achievements, which I can relate too. I hate being the center of attention and I feel like I don’t need to be rewarded for doing something I should have done
