Before he was a writer he was a pirated oysters shoveled coal worked on sealing ship and rode trains.when he returned home he wrote his first book titled called ‘call of the wild’ He was on many radio stations and news paper later he made white fang and sea wolf. He built his house in 1911 which he named wolf house it burned down 8/22/1913.
