A favorite movie of mine is Pirates of the Caribbean the hero is while the anti-hero is Jack Sparrow. The reason why Jack Sparrow as an anti-hero has become popular over the years is because he is willing to get what he wants by any necessary means and that includes breaking the law. While it is easy to empathize with Jack Sparrow the reason we do is that he can take be in a dangerous situation and make a good point then laugh about how he got there in the first place. Take for example when locked up and breaks out while leading the authorities into a trap so he can escape.
