Live Oak Cemetery is a digital photograph by Jackie Lord. This picture was taken in Selma, Alabama. I saw this work of art at Shelton State Community College. It was part of the Southern Roots Art Show in the Cadence Bank Art Gallery. In this photograph, I see four tall oak trees that seem to have Spanish moss growing on them scattered throughout the scene. On the ground, I see small round shrubs or bushes. I also see two short dark green trees. There is a tombstone in the foreground on the right side of the picture. Behind the headstone, there is a white building with a porch. The focal point in the photograph to me is the big oak tree on the left side in the foreground. It has dark hue and value which makes it pop to the eye of the viewer.
