Jackie Robinson was born in Cairo Cairo Georgia in 1919. His dad left with the neighbor’s wife when he was young. His mom raised him and 4 other children. His siblings were Mack, Frank, Willa, and Edgar. His family was the only blacks on the block. He excelled in sports when he was young. In high school, he was the first to win 4 letters.
