In the first source “Jackie Robinson-Mini Bio” it had showed a video of how Jackie Robinson in a couple of ways broke the color barrier in baseball and after he retired marched in civil rights rallies. He went from playing in the Negro Leagues to the Major Leagues which many people looked up to ESPECIALLY due to him being the first African American to make it that far. It explained how he had to sleep in a different hotel, eat at different places than the rest of his teammates which also in ways of racism despised him for his color. He had to sign a contract saying when people threaten and throw stuff at him he would just have to handle it and the fact that he wasn’t able to sleep in the same hotel or do the same as the rest of the team. He accomplished the rookie of the year award and MVP award all in the same year and helped the Dodgers win world series’.
