Jackie Walorski is an American politician who has been a United States Representative in Indiana’s second congressional district since 2013. She is a member of the House of Representatives as well the Republican Party. From 2005 to 2010, she represented Indiana's twenty first district and in 2010 she won the Republican nomination for Indiana second congressional district. In 2012, she narrowly lost the general election to Joe Donnelly but shortly after she redeemed herself and won the open seat. She works everyday to improve the quality of education, defense and national security, economy and jobs, veterans, and healthcare.

She believes young adults should be able to break the cycle of poverty, so she partnered with Goodwill and made the Excel Center. This is a place where young adults can earn their high school diploma in a way that fits to their needs, instead of a one size fits all approach. Hoosier Republican, Jackie Walorski, recently urged Health and Human Services to improve drug monitoring systems in order to stop the opioid epidemic. Having up to date patient information would allow doctors to be able to deny or recommend certain treatments for their patients.
