In the movie Finding Forrester, the main character's name is Jamal Wallace. Jamal Wallace attends a high school where numerous people think he's nothing than just a black boy who plays basketball. Matter of fact he is a genius in his own mind, and gifted at both basketball, literature, and writing. Throughout the movie nobody seems to see his true colors because numerous people are constantly trying to pull him down because they just think that he is nothing but a black scary boy who lives on the streets and is only good at basketball. There are three people in the movie that tend to bring Jamal down.
Crawford is one of the characters in the movie that brings Jamal down. Crawford is Jamal's Professor and does not think that Jamal is smart
