James Baldwin said, “There is a sanctity involved with bringing a child into this world, it is better than bombing one out of it.” Baldwin is saying if some gets pregnant they should be able to choose whether or not they want to bring that child into the world. Many people judge teens and who get pregnant at a young age. They think the teens are not ready and they need supervision, but if children are old enough to have a job and drive a car they should be able to have a kid without their parents. Parent involvement laws are very dangerous for a minor. These laws put their safety and health at risk. For instance,“Yet research has shown that these laws often delay young women’s access, endangering young women’s health and safety, and leaving too many alone and afraid,”(Abortion and Parental Involvement Laws). “Research has also showed that many young children who want abortions are scared to tell their parents, and they’re scared they will face disapproval. Children's safety can also be threatened when they tell their parents due to the parents getting angry. For example, “ And in some cases, pregnant young women may fear a violent reaction from their parents. At the extreme, are cases of rape and incest between the pregnant teenager and her father or stepfather. Advanced notification laws fail to address this fear,”(Mandatory Notification of Parents). This will rise tensions in the house along the whole family, which can increase the amount of violence, and decrease the child's safety.”(Abortion and Parental Involvement Laws). These laws will threaten the child’s safety when trying to get a abortion. If it gets to a point where the child's safety is put at danger, you are suppose to seek medical attention. For instance,“it is best for them to seek the advice of a trained medical professional than to face the situation alone and afraid,”(Abortion and Parental Involvement Laws). There are also two different types of Parental involvement laws, but this doesn’t change the fact that the child’s safety can be put at risk. For example,“There are two types of parental-involvement laws; those that require parental notice and those that require parental consent before a minor can seek abortion services. Parental-notice laws require prior written notification of parents before an abortion can be provided, with limited exceptions in some cases, such as physical abuse, incest, or
