In the story “The Owl Who Was God” written by James Thurber, an owl answers all the questions that asked by other animals correct. Therefore, the forest creatures want to make the owl be their leader even though the fox warns them. The creatures follow the owl all the time and imitate its every action. Once they follow the owl onto the highway, both the owl and the creatures do not see a truck comes toward them. Because the owl does not move, the other creatures also stay at the original place. Finally, the all animals includes owl are killed by the truck.
