here were many problems in Jamestown, Virginia. Some people starved, natives killed colonists. But the main problem in Jamestown, harsh weather and surrounding geography, was the main reason why so many people died. This killed many plants and many people had to resort to cannibalism or eating their shoes. Many people in Jamestown starved and I believe it is the main problem in Jamestown. This occurred during the winter when the crop would not grow. Many people starved because of the lack of planning. In the time people spent getting to Jamestown, colonists should have prepared for the harsh environment and had shorter intervals between shipments of supplies better rationing of the food they had.
