JBS was started in Brazil and has slowly grown into a multinational company. Operating in Canada United states, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Australia. JBS USA is a leading animal protein producer and exporter with a leading position as a beef and lamb producer in the U.S. and Australia. They are also a relevant producer of pork in the U.S. and a leading chicken producer in the U.S., Mexico and Puerto Rico. Worldwide they are the largest animal protein processor with 140 production facilities. JBS’s global, diversified, low-cost production platform is the foundation for a variety of our products including food, leather, pet products and biodiesel. There is a growing demand for meat in the world. The demand for meat in the world has tripled in the last four decades and increased by 20 present in the last 10years. Meanwhile in the industrial countries are consuming nearly double the quantity consumed in developing. Today the meat industry in dealing more and with the issues facing the environment. Therefore in order for companies to reduce the wastes during meat production, there is a growing need for innovation and new technologies. These new inventions would help with making healthier products, recycling and waste management.
