Born May 24, 1743, Jean-Paul Marat is a highly celebrated journalist. Marat is a leader of the radical Montagnard faction of the Jacobins. Constantly advocating his beliefs of the revolution through his newspaper, L'Ami du Peuple. Although much of the public praise Marat, they are simply blinded by the hope of liberty. After many uncertain number of years residing in France and other European countries, Jean-Paul Marat became a renowned doctor, publishing numerous books on scientific and philosophical perspectives.
