One of the issues discussed was the view of human nature. Hamilton and Jefferson both had separate views on this. Hamilton's view of human nature was that people were basically selfish and out for themselves. On the other hand, Jefferson’s view of human nature was the assumption that informed citizens could make good decisions for themselves and their country. Although both Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson had separate views on human nature, a lot of people supported both of them. Alexander Hamilton was a federalist and the federalists supported what he believed. Thomas Jefferson was a Democratic-Republican and the democratic-republicans supported his beliefs and believed in what he believed in. In conclusion, both Jefferson and Hamilton made excellent points and backed up what they believed, even though they both might not have thought the same.

Why should a man run the government due to the fact that he is rich or smart? If the people pay taxes and live somewhere they should have a say in the government. I agree with Jefferson’s view on the fact that the best form of government is a small government with limited powers. I think that the people should be in charge in the government and should be able to have a say in it. There are things that the government hides from people and a lot of things that most people don’t even know is going on in their own country. If regular people were in charge of the government they will be able to understand where the other people are coming from, being that they are similar.
