Jeffrey Dahmer is a criminal who performed many horrifying and notorious acts on his “prey”. In the quote this dangerous criminal states that he has killed many people and is finding it hard to believe that he, himself had committed such crimes. In Dahmer’s life he had a pretty normal upbringing, apart from his parents constant fighting. However, the world famous serial killer started to show signs of insanity at a young age. These signs consist of manipulation of animal corpses. These actions later evolved to killing, cannibalizing, and necrophilia of his human victims. Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960 in Evangelical Deaconess Hospital, Milwaukee (“Jeffrey Dahmer's Childhood”). During the time of his youth his mother and father fought a lot. When these conflicts of his parents would occur he would take these fights to heart. These fights would eventually lead to the Dahmers getting a divorce. The effect of the divorce caused Jeffrey to become disengaged, tense, and lacked a social life. At the age of about eight, Jeffrey was sexually molested by a neighbor boy in rural Bath TownShip. This crime was unreported to the officials. Jeffrey Dahmer, now age ten, experimented with dead animals. HIs actions of these experimentations is the decapitating of rodents, bleaching of chicken bones with acid, nailing a dog’s carcass to a tree and the head onto a stake ("Animal instincts). The young man also collected the bones of rodents and housed the animals inside formaldehyde-filled pickle jars which were placed around childhood clubhouse. The neighbors of Dahmer’s also witnessed Jeffrey placing skulls on top of little crosses. In the highschool years, Jeffrey had a short temper, wanted attention, and became dependent on alcohol. Dahmer acted differently in public, he would outline bodies in chalk, fake epileptic fits, yelling inappropriate things in public, and sneaking into pictures where he did not belong in. After murdering his victims the notorious serial killer later proceeded to dismember the bodies and store the pieces into plastic bags. He even went as far as burying the body in his own grandmother’s back woods. His first victim was buried there first but was dug back up to the surface for the bones. After that he used an identical strategy of luring his victims to his place of murder and killed them there. He also used the same strategy of dismemberment as well as storage. He stored his victims in plastic bags, freezers and buried what he wanted. Dahmer also kept pieces of flesh as a trophy or a meal. The next act of hiding the remains was to pulverise the bones with a sledge hammer. The bones were scattered outside in the woods behind his grandmother’s house, After burying his victims Dahmer would keep souvenirs such as genitalia and skulls. Wit these soveniours he performed necrophillia, for examplw masturbation in front of skulls facing towards him. Jeffrey also performed cannibalism on the bodies.
