Jeffrey Toobin is a New York City born lawyer and legal analyst for CNN and the New Yorker. This is a case that very few lawyers or analysts would take on because an author could easily display bias due to the fact that this is a very ethics and emotion based jury decision. This written analysis was also intended for someone who easily emotionally swayed. The thesis of this article is that the OJ Simpson defense team used the theory of a racist rogue cop who framed him as a way of igniting passion in the jury and the readers. Before reading this article I had no opinion on the trial but now I lean more towards the idea that he is guilty due to lack of evidence provided in the contrary.
