Mexican -American singer Jenni Rivera. Born July 2, 1969, Long Beach California. Rivera had 15 gold, 15 platinum and 5 double platinum records. Later on Rivera become a reality -TV star, businesswoman and activist. She produced several reality –TV shows series that include her family members. Jenni’s parents where Rosa Saavedra and Pedro Rivera. Both her parents were divorced. They illegal crossed Mexico to get into the United States. Jenni was baptized as Dolores Janney Rivera Saavedra. Rivera young life was very difficult and not easy. Later on in life Rivera got pregnant at the age of 15 by Trino Marin. Her parents kicked her out of the house. She then married Marin in 1984 and had 2 more children. It was not very pleasant together. In her 8 years Rivera descried it as a mentally and physical abuse.
