Jennie Finch Jennie Finch is a pro softball player, she pitched from the Arizona Wildcats, USA national softball team and the Chicago Bandits. She was born in La Mirada on September 3rd 1980. Jennie is 6’0 feet tall and has 3 kids, Diesel, Paisley, and Ace. She now plays for the team Arizona Wildcats, she was a right-handed softball pitcher and a first baseman for how tall she was. Finch began playing at the age of five and started pitching at the age of eight. The website www.softballperformance.com states that “Finch played softball for the University of Arizona. While there, she was a three-time All-American pitcher and first-baseman and “Honda Award” winner for the Player of the Year as a member of the Wildcat softball team.” This shows that Jennie was the most famous all American pitcher and first baseman. It also states that “She recorded 24 wins in her freshman season; 29 wins in her sophomore seasons; 32 wins (and no losses) in her junior season to set an NCAA record; and 24 wins in her senior season, to amass a career total of 109 victories which was the 12th most at the time.” When Jennie was in her softball career she had many wins and very few losses, because she was that fantastic of a player. …show more content…
In Jennies years of High School she played many other sports not just softball. She also played basketball, and volleyball but her favorite was of course softball. As of how popular Jennie Finch is she's been on lots and lots of different TV shows like “She appeared on season one of Pros vs Joes on Spike TV along with Bill Romanowski, Dan O’Brien, Muggsy Bogues, and Bo Jackson.” Jennie was a very popular women and will forever be one.
