My imaginary friend ,Bear, who is a college graduate with a degree in computer science resonate with John Leo article article “When life imitates Video”. Leo depicted that video games with violent pictures have bad consequences in children's character to the extent that luring them to execute characters displayed on the game in the real life. According to him, we are now a society in which the form of play for millions of youngsters is making a large number of people die. In his article, he gave several crime scene examples to make his point how exposure to violent video games as a child relates to these incidences .He believe the Littleton massacre incident was related to violent media. He tried to relate the cruelty, the arsenal of weapon used, the character displayed by the shooter while hunting down victims to the video killing games often played by the shooters. Also, he stated that such video games can be used as a rehearsal venue before any real violent crime committed. The author has elaborated that more than 60 percent of television show display one or other form of violence. He stated violence is a central aspect of television program that enjoy remarkable consistency and stability over time. In his book he argued that exposure to violent media poses a public health risk to children. He further pointed out that three harmful effects of television violence. According to him children will learn aggressive attitude and behavior after watching violent television. Also, they will be desensitized or increase callousness toward victim of violence.
