The death of John Pierpont sparked a mark in history because of the supported he showed towards the nation. People who knew him knew that he was a man of kindness despite the fact that others thought he forced his way to gain power.He is known as a great financer ,banker, speaker, defender and a creator of ideas. Morgan left behind an incredible path that has revolutionized finances from back then to modern day banking. John Pierpont was born into a New England family in Hartford,Connecticut.He faced challenges of suffering from serious seizures and other mysterious illness. In 1866, J.P. reorganized two major railroads with the aim of reestablishing their financial base.He extended his influences lines from Pennsylvania to Ohio with rehabilitating a large number of leading lines in the country including the Southern, Erie and Northern Railroads.(1.”J.P.”) John Pierpont faced criticism that he had too much power and accused of manipulating the nation’s financial system for his own gain.(“Tucker”). Solving the Panic of 1907 is Morgan’s highest achievements.When the panic struck the financial community of New York rallied around Morgan, and the federal government entrusted its funds in his hands.He recruited the best lieutenants to investigates resources of New York banks and trust companies in order to act to save them. Morgan and his cohorts were the central bank. (‘John Pierpont Morgan”). The famous financier , John Pierpont Morgan , died at the age of 75 in Rome, Italy on March 31 , 1913 during one of his annual trips to Europe.(3”J.P”). Morgan made contribution to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York donating many works of art to this museum.
