In “Of Mice and Men”, the loneliest and most isolated character is Curley’s Wife. She is always isolated from everyone and never allowed to talk to anyone except to her husband, Curley, who neglects her and goes to town for women and booze. The only chance she really ever had to talk to anyone was when Curley was out or not around her, like when the guys left to go to town, she went to the barn where Crooks, Candy and Lennie were at. And as they are talking, Curley’s Wife walks in, “ Any of you boys seen Curley?” However, what she says next shows that she really knows where Curley and the other guys went, “Think I don't know where they all went?
