In John Wyndham’s “Chrysalids" it becomes apparent that kindness plays a major role in determining an individual’s destiny. People's perception are impacted by the way you act towards them. if you present yourself as someone who is cruel you most liekly will not be someone that person would allow into their life. Being kind to others allows you to gain their trust and also build a relationship with them. Their presence can have major control in how your future ends up looking. A lack of kindness towards others can have a negative effect on an individual’s destiny.
