I am interested in joining students in VITA for many reasons. The main reason I want to join students in VITA is because my family has used programs like VITA to help us with our taxes. Since I come from a low-income family I know just how hard it can be to have the money to file taxes and if it wasn’t for programs like VITA it would have been much more difficult to file taxes. Since I saw just how much this program like these helped my family and I want to return the favor. I want to help other low-income families do their taxes because I know first-hand just how difficult life is for a low-income family. In addition, I want to pursue finance as my career choice and VITA seems like a great place to start. At VITA, I can help my community while
