Stalin’s Forced Famine 1932-1933 The Holodomor (Forced Famine) was before World War II (WWII). The Holodomor was a Man-Made Famine. Holodomor means “death by hunger”. Ukraine is one of the republics in the Soviet Union. Joseph Stalin ascended to power after Vladimir Lenin’s death. He became the leader of Ukraine. Stalin made his own people starve to death. His people faced famine because of him. He was driven mad by power. He wanted all the power in the world. He was a despot, a disgrace to humanity, an autocrat, a hard core dictator. One might say he was the devil himself. He was power hungry. Joseph Stalin was an extremely evil dictator whose Forced Famine of 1932-1933 claimed a multitude of lives. The famine lasted for two years. Ukraine faced pure devastation when the people were being starved to death. Adolf Hitler was horrible as well, but at least he fed the Jews in the concentration camps. Stalin in fact did the opposite. He would not feed his people. It was Stalin’s creepy way of teaching a lesson to the people of Ukraine. It continued for two years. It started in 1932 and ended in 1933. The Ukrainians suffered for two years. Stalin was fortunate when he came into power. For all we know he could have manipulated his way into power. Genocide plays a big role in history itself. Governments today still use genocide but they do it gradually so they do not look suspicious. Anyone who is intelligent enough to recognize it needs to find a way to put an end to such a monstrosity. The people control the government not the other way around. If a government is corrupt, it is the job of the people to overthrow them. If more people did this then horrible things like genocide might not have happened, but there is no absolute way of
